Códigos de erro HD anterior à 2004

Badá acaba de postar no blog dos Infernais mantido pelo Pedrão uma lista de códigos de erro diferente da que ja postei aqui.

Ele é dono de uma Road King anterior à 2004, ano em que as softails ganharam a injeção eletrônica.

Vale deixar o registro dos códigos de erro para essas tourings:

00-03 HD Codes And Activation:
1. Remove right side saddlebag and side cover if so equipped. Remove protective plug from data link connector. Other models will be under the seat.

2. To activate the diagnostic feature,follow these steps.
a. Create diagnostic test wire or use a female spade clip which will bridge the two terminals perfectly.
b. Install diagnostic test wire/clip across Terminals 1 and 2 on the data link connector, they are marked.
c. Turn Ignition/Light Key Switch to IGNITION and wait approximately 10 seconds (4 seconds lamp ON, 6 seconds lamp OFF) for check engine lamp to start flashing.

3. All trouble codes are sent out as a series of flashes. To retrieve the first digit of the trouble code simply observe the number of times the lamp flashes.
a. The lamp will then flash one or more times to indicate the first digit of the trouble code.
b. The length of time the lamp is illuminated and the length of time in which it is off are each about 0.5 second in duration.

4. The second digit follows:
a. Following the transmission of the first digit, there is a 1.2 second pause in which the lamp is off.
b. The lamp will then flash one or more times to indicate the second digit of the trouble code. Count the number of times the lamp flashes to retrieve the second digit.

5. If more than one trouble code is sent:
a. Following transmission of the second digit of the first code, there is a 3 second pause in which the lamp is off.
b. Once all codes have been sent, the data string is repeated. When you have recorded the same trouble code twice, it is an indication that the transmission has been restarted and that all trouble codes have been retrieved.

IMPORTANT NOTE ..If diagnostic test wire is installed across Pins 1 and 2 on connector in lieu of a Scanalyzer, the ECM is placed in a diagnostic test mode and the engine will start. The test wire must be removed from the data connector and the ignition switch turned OFF or the check engine lamp will continue to flash codes. A historic trouble code resides in the memory of the ECM until the code is cleared by use of the Scanalyzer or a total of 50 trips has elapsed. A “trip” consists of a start and run cycle, the run cycle lasting at least 30 seconds. After the 50 trip retention period, the trouble code is automatically erased from memory (that is, assuming no subsequent faults of the same type are detected in that period). The numbers after the 'historic' or 'current' is the speedo code number, but without the electrical diagnostics manual you're not going to know what they mean.

The code numbers are the numbers that appear in red.

Olá! Primeiramente, parabéns por esta valiosíssima ferramenta de ajuda, auxílio e luz na nossa vida motociclística....rs!
Cara, estou com um baita problema: troquei o plate, bomba de óleo e tensores das correntes dos comandos da minha R.King 2000 (Mgnetti Marelli) pq o tensor original quebrou dentro do motor e ferrou com o plate e a bomba. Daí aproveitei e já troquei estes itens que mencionei, por um kit S.Eagle que substitui os tensores originais das TC88 por tensores semelhantes aos das TC96. O plate é híbrido (pode-se colocar os tensores das TC96 nele) e a bomba de óleo é uma de alto fluxo. Mexi na primária também. Mas nada na parte de alimentação da moto foi mexido. Todas as juntas do motor (superiores e inferiores) foram trocadas por original. A moto já tinha comando S.Eagle 1550 desde 0 km; e estava redondinha, perfeita, sem nenhum problema (apenas o problema dos tensores, que descobri por causa de um barulho estranho que começou a fazer do nada). Ocorre que agora, depois de montada e tudo mais, a luz Engine apaga após a partida da moto (como tem que ser), mas depois de alguns segundos, ela volta a acender, e permanece assim, sem apagar mais. A moto está funcionando normal, sem acelerações diferentes, nem falhando. Mas a maldita luz Engine tá lá, acesa quando não deveria. Não aparece NENHUM código de erro no painel...nadinha mesmo. E meu mecânico, de alta confiança, não sabe o que fazer. E ele não tem o aparelho que consegue rastrear essa moto, só das mais novas. PELO AMOR DE DEUS....O QUE EU FAÇO???? Já são 4 meses a moto parada entre esperar as peças chegarem e montar.

Considere que é apenas um palpite: nas HDs que usam a ECU Magnetti Marelli a posição dos cilindros e virabrequim é obtida através do Cam Sensor (p/n 32793-00) e pelo Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) e nas HDs com ECU Delphi, esse sensor não está mais presente.

No seu caso, acredito que o kit SE não use o Cam Sensor e a ECU possa estar acusando exatamente a falta de leitura desse sensor.

Você acessa esse sensor pelo Timer Cover, verifique se ele está no lugar, se tem algum mau contato ou se tem algum defeito.

E já que está com a mão na massa, verifique o CKP também.

Obrigado pela resposta! Mas ainda tenho algumas dúvidas, apesar de eu não ser o mecânico....hehehe!
No caso, exatamente onde fica posicionado o sensor dentro do Timer Cover? E se for o caso da minha ECU estar acusando a falta de leitura e continuar com a luz acesa, mesmo estando tudo normal e dentro da regularidade no motor, vai haver quebras ou prejuízos ou desgaste anormal?

Bajo, eu também não sou mecânico e isso foi um palpite baseado em postagens em fóruns americanos.

Você deve encontrar o sensor ou a tomada desconectada assim que abrir a Timer Cover.

E não vi nenhum relato de problemas por falta desse sensor, já que o CKP vai enviar msg para a ECU, mas a luz deve ficar acesa indicando que o circuito elétrico que conduz a msg está aberto.

Uma sugestão no caso do sensor tiver sido eliminado pelo KIT SE é usar um jumper na tomada para fechar o circuito e eliminar o erro por circuito aberto.
